Christmas Quilts and Lindsey Stirling

My most recent quilt finish is this one!

It’s Holiday Bear by Annie Brady of Bound Co. I have had this kit for a few years and decided that this was the year to make it!

It went together fairly quickly and I love how it turned out!

I added the pantograph Ringlets to it because, to me, it looks like bear heads and I knew it would add the perfect touch!

At the beginning of December, my parents and I took a trip to Asheville, NC, Cherokee, NC, and Gatlinburg, TN, and I took this quilt along with me!

I was hoping for some great photo opportunities and I was not disappointed!!

Here is the quilt outside of Biltmore Estate! If you’ve never been to Biltmore, it’s a jaw-dropping mansion located in Asheville, NC. Christmastime is especially magical, but it’s stunning year-round.

Outside of touring the Estate, there are trails to walk/bike, a barnyard with cows, goats, and chickens, and a cute little village with shops and dining!

You can definitely spend an entire weekend here and enjoy the grandeur of Biltmore and the NC mountains!

The rest of the photos are from one of the Dollywood resorts. I’d never stayed at one before, but I took full advantage of all of the good photo spots!

I also enjoyed their Cocoa Dusted Smores Cheesecake - it’s not to be missed!

Oh, and I mentioned Lindsey Stirling! I was able to go to her Snow Waltz Christmas Concert in Cherokee, NC. A dream come true for sure!

I have been a fan of Lindsey Stirling for a few years now, so I was so excited when the opportunity arose to attend one of her concerts! It was magical to say the least!

I left unable to think of a Christmas song she didn't play! Plus, she played my two favorites, so that was a bonus!

I had a phenomenal time!! I’m still a little speechless!

Below is a link to a compilation playlist by Lindsey Stirling, herself!
