Quilt Along Status Report: February 1, 2022

I have committed to so many quilt alongs this year!

I wanted to share how far I have, or haven’t, gotten. My first priority is longarm quilting for all of you, so these quilt alongs take second place. :)

Heirloom Hearts Quilt Along

This was first on my list. Right now I’m about 1.5 weeks behind, but I’m working hard to catch up. I still love where this one is heading though!

Rose in Bloom Block of the Month

My quilt kit just arrived late Saturday afternoon. So, I’m a bit behind on this one too! But, I will be catching up ASAP.

What are my plans to catch up?

This week, I plan to starch and cut the pieces for blocks 1 & 2 of the Rose in Bloom Block of the Month. This should be the shorter of the two tasks to complete, so I’m starting off with the easier project.

Then I’ll jump back on the Heirloom Hearts Quilt Along!

Maybe next month’s status report will show me ahead of the game. Who knows?
